About

I'm a London-based dance artist born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I trained at Cisne Negro Ballet School and in contemporary dance at University of Campinas (UNICAMP), before receiving my postgraduate diploma with EDge Co at London Contemporary Dance School, as a recipient of The Lunn Prothero scholarship.

I have performed across the UK and internationally with companies such as Fevered Sleep, Hagit Yakira Dance, Clod Ensemble, Second Hand Dance and Ella Mesma Dance. My collaborations with independent artists include  Rosemary Lee, Alex Howard, Petra Soor, Antonio de la Fe, Wilkie Branson, Riccardo Buscarini, Simonetta Alessandri, Jia-Yu Corti, Annie Lok amongst others. Alongside performing I choreograph, facilitate workshops, classes and work as rehearsal director for other artists.

I have an open, collaborative approach and interest in refining my creative voice through dance. A natural observer fascinated by the moving body, its immense bursts of energy and communicative power. I'm also appreciative of quietness, one's inner world, the silent body and its beautiful subtleties; the honest, present and vulnerable state of simply being.

I dance with great sensitivity and commitment. It is through Improvisation that I generate movements that are the most communicative, articulate and nuanced. It is a way of accessing deep-rooted parts of my being.
